St David's Children Society is approved as an adoption agency by the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales Established in 1947, St David's Children Society is the oldest and longest serving adoption agency in Wales. In these past sixty years, the Society has placed nearly 2,000 children for adoption.

In the financial year ending 31st March 2006, 33 children were adopted through the Society. This represented 14% of all children adopted in Wales in that period.

The Society provides locally based adoption services across all of Wales and Herefordshire. We will also consider applications from enquirers who live on the borders of these regions.
